ABOUT CANDI

As a worldwide traveling professional violinist, Candi has been helping clients, brands, and businesses provide exclusive entertainment for weddings, luxury & corporate events with all special occasions in between!

Candi The Violinist is a well-rounded musician with over 30 years of experience offering a variety of music selections. Candi is classically trained, having begun playing the violin at the tender age of 8. 

Based in St Petersburg FL since June 2020, Candi originally hails from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia PA.  At the age of 8, Candi's family moved to a small town in southern New Jersey in an effort to get out of an inner city with violence and a failing school system. As a result of the move to a better school system that also offered music education, Candi received her musical instruction via  Winslow Township of NJ's public school music education program between the 3rd and 12th grades. Choosing to pursue medicine out of high school instead of music, Candi still continued to practice the violin and is self-taught beyond high school having never put it down. 

With classical roots, Candi has perfected her craft learning how to play by ear across multiple genres of music such as top 40 hits, hip-hop, pop, R&B, afrobeat, reggae, 70's-90's hits, and more!

Candi is passionate about sharing her love of music and wishes to empower women and children while  offering representation for a demographic that is underrepresented in the world of stringed instruments.
